Covid 19

You may be looking for therapy and unsure how to find help during a time of uncertainty. That’s understandable.

Our initial session is an opportunity to find out more about what you are looking for and the process of therapy.

At the moment I am following my member organisation UKCP and Government guidelines to work from home. I am offering online and phone sessions to help provide support. If you wish to discuss this further, I will send you more information about working with distance.

Therapy takes courage and commitment. I offer a professional confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Be reassured that you don’t have to face these problems alone. I provide both long-term psychotherapy and short-term counselling, based around your schedule.  I enjoy working with clients to help develop insights, to understand better their relationships, and patterns of behaviour,  which help enhance joy and ability to withstand difficulties.

Are you feeling sad or worried? Are you going through a life transition? Are you feeling distressed due to family or relationship issues? Do you feel dissatisfied and don’t know why?

Psychotherapy can help you navigate through areas of your life and facilitate more meaningful dialogues, connecting your feelings with your thoughts enabling positive change.

Finding a therapeutic space to share your life experience can really help you work through and resolve issues where you may have become stuck. We will work together and with my professional guidance help you gain insight and understanding.  This process can greatly enhance well being, self-awareness and personal fulfilment.

As we prepare to get back to a new normal, the need for therapy has never been more urgent and while on-line is a great option, many of us are looking forward to returning to face to face, but in as safe a way as possible. You may also want to continue virtual therapy but in a safe, professional space with a strong connection and total privacy.

I have always taken care to create a beautiful, thoughtful therapy space. My room is situated within a serviced office building with a comprehensive Covid Safe plan, that will help provide you with reassurance, allowing your visit to re-start at this new higher standard. When I have more information on when we are able to return to face to face I will keep you updated.

The therapy room will be set up with physical distancing between the seating furniture. Sanitiser is available in the room and building and allowing for complete physical distancing throughout. On my floor near to my therapy room is a bathroom for handwashing on arrival and on departure.

My therapy room has a hospital quality HEPA air purifier which is designed to remove airborne particle pollution, including viruses such as covid 19, mould and pollen enhancing clean air ventilation. There is also a window in the room.
